My students love participating in hands on activities. Every year we clean out and carve a pumpkin. We spend a decent amount of time talking about how the weather changes, the scenery changes and how different types of foods are harvested during the fall months. I'm going to start our pumpkin discussion this year by reading "Pumpkins in the Fall." I thought you would enjoy this little freebie! If you want a pumpkin activity, check out my visual How-To for a Jack-O-Lantern activity on TpT.
