Slim down Saturdays 1/11/14

While scrolling through Instagram this morning I came across a photo from @ilovemyclassroom sharing her link up to Slim down Saturdays with Third Grade Tidbits.

I thought I would go ahead and share my own and try my hardest to do it weekly.

My goal is to loose 50 pounds by 2015, but 25 by mid year. Read more about my weight loss goals and new years resolutions

I worked out every day this week at planet fitness, mainly doing the 30minute circuit. I'm hoping next week I can do a little more cardio. I also want to try and get more sleep. I usually get 5 hours of sleep and really should be getting more. So next week I will try to get at least 6 hours.

I am loving all the extra energy I have from working out and eating healthy. So my word for the week is 'healthy'.

  1. I love the 30 minute circuit at Planet Fitness!! It's my favorite! I also need to work on going to bed earlier. It's my goal for next week too! Good luck this week!

  2. Thanks for linking up! I need to go to bed earlier too. I am ALWAYS tired... but by the time my daughter goes to bed and I straighten up and do whatever it is I need to do, it is laaaate. Tuesday I was so tired, I crashed before my husband even got home from work! (same with yesterday ha). I love your blog name... makes me laugh.

  3. I have been making myself a glass of camomile tea and heading to bed early this week...mostly to avoid late-night snacking. I definitely feel better with the extra sleep. Good luck this week!

  4. Good luck on your journey. (If you go to bed by midnight you would be in bed two hours after me. Tee hee hee!) Have a great weekend!

  5. Hmmmm...I just typed a comment and it disappeared! So, I apologize if it appears twice! Welcome to the Slim Down Saturday Group! It does help keep your health goals in mind throughout the week. I am the same way with sleep. I always think "if I stay up later (or get up earlier), I can get more done!"...and that is not a very healthy way to think...lol!! I should be thinking "get enough rest so you feel good and stay healthy!"
