Storing Bulletin Board letters

I'm linking up with 4th grade frolics to share my Monday Made it! It has been crazy these past few days! My grandmother had a stroke and was admitted into the hospital last Wednesday.  She is doing much better, but still waiting on the doctors approval before going into in-house therapy.  I also have been switching my craft room around and updating my blog! I almost forgot I should be blogging! This is what I made this week:

First I want to share my social media makeovers! I updated my Pinterest boards & made a cover for each board! They turned out sooo cute. I'm still working on my personal board covers, but at least Miss, Hey Miss' Pinterest is finished!

I also redid my blog!! :) I updated the banner, headers and background. I love my new header.

Blog changes from Miss, Hey Miss!
What do you think? I love the new version!!
Lastly, something for my classroom....I received a HUGE box of bulletin board letters from my boyfriends' aunt who is a retired teacher. I am so grateful for the books and all of her random boxes of teacher goodies! I just don't know what to do with it yet. I decided until I get into my class, I would organize.  I worked on sorting all of the bulletin board letters! Check it out:

I used a 12x12 scrapbook and filled it with 4x6 photo page holders.  Then I placed a different set of letters on each side of the page.  Near the back I placed a few regular 12x12 scrapbook slips and placed the letters that wouldn't fit or were too tine I didn't want to loose.  I also pre-sorted and paper clipped my bulletin board titles to have them ready to go. I also found if you Velcro the 4x6 slots closed it holds the pieces much better & they don't slide out when flipping the pages.

  1. Good for you! Things that coordinate are the best. :)

  3. I LOVE this idea for organizing bulletin board letters! Sooooo going to do this! The only thing I'll add (and maybe you've done this and I just don't see it/missed it) is to add a little label to each pocket telling me how many of each letter there is. GREAT idea to keep your bulletin board titles together, too - that'll make future board changes easier. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

    1. oohh love the label idea!! I will need to add that now! Thanks for sharing.
